Clos du Marquis
This wine is dense with dark tannins as well as the elegance associated with the appellation. It comes from a vineyard that has been separated out from the Léoville las Cases estate. Packed with tannins as well as blueberry and blackberry fruits, the wine will develop well over several years.
Aging: +25 years
Pairgin: Red Meat, Cheese
Clos du Marquis
Medium ruby-red in color, but quite darkly pigmented. Aromas are restrained & introspective, showing red-fruit & coffee notes. Vivid cassis & redcurrant flavors on the palate are supported by fresh acidity. The mid-weight wine has fine, firm tannins. The acidity gives the cassis fruit on the mid-palate an attractive juicy nature. The tannins give grip without being astringent. The finish is long & elegant with tangy black-fruit to the end.
Aging: +28 years
Pairgin: Red Meat, Cheese
Chablis "Vieilles Vignes" 2020
Riesling, Ried Preussen-Nussberg 1 ÖTW Lage 2020
This Riesling grows on Ried Preussen limestone on the Wiener Nussberg. The bedrock almost reaches the surface and is little interspersed with marine sediments. The high quartz content of sandstone with a low lime content is characteristic. On the nose, its baroque style recalls a ripe vine peach. Mineral notes and an exciting combination of sugar and acid make this wine one of the best representatives of Riesling in Vienna.
Rewards:
- Fallstaff: 93/100
- On the card: 93.5/100
Riesling 'Muschelkalk' Ried Obere Schoss, Nussberg - 2020
The Wiener Nussberg is without a doubt the most famous large vineyard in Vienna. Even from the city centre, you can see this magnificent vineyard at the foot of the Kahlenberg. The king of white grape varieties feels very comfortable there. This wine, which comes from the vineyards Burgstall, Obere Schoß and Preussen, is a really fun Riesling with everything it needs. The shellfish limestone of the soil makes this wine an extremely fresh and drinkable representative of the grape variety.
Pommard - JM Bouzereau

Pairing: Red meats, game, cold meats, cheese.
