Château Malartic Lagravière 2018

The 2018 Malartic Lagravière showcases a deep garnet-purple hue and offers aromas of baked red and black cherries, warm blackcurrants, and balsamic notes, complemented by hints of underbrush, moss-covered bark, and tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied, firm, and chewy, delivering rich berry preserves along with pepper and spice nuances that linger on the long finish. This wine is composed of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot, and 3% Cabernet Franc, and will be aged for 18-22 months in oak barrels, with 70% being new.

Store bottles on their side

Storing bottles horizontally keeps the cork in constant contact with the wine, preventing it from drying out and ensuring a proper seal over time.

Keep in a cool, stable environment

A steady, cool temperature helps wines age gracefully. Avoid fluctuations, as they can disturb the wine’s balance and long-term quality.

Away from light and heat

Protect bottles from direct light and excessive warmth, both of which can accelerate aging and alter the wine’s aromas and structure.
