Mont d’Or Napiot 500g is an artisanal cheese crafted in the Haut-Doubs region of France, at elevations above 700 meters. Made from raw cow’s milk, it proudly carries the AOC recognition since 1981 and the AOP designation since 1996. A true seasonal delicacy, Mont d’Or is only produced in winter and owes its distinctive character to the surrounding spruce forests. Encircled with a spruce bark strap, matured on spruce boards, and presented in its traditional wooden box, this creamy cheese reveals delicate woody notes and an unrivaled smooth texture.
