“La Montée de St Ruble” is a great terroir. The Wiener Nussberg is without a doubt the most famous large vineyard in Vienna. Even from the city centre, you can see this magnificent vineyard at the foot of the Kahlenberg. The king of white grape varieties feels very comfortable there. This wine, which comes from the vineyards Burgstall, Obere Schoß and Preussen, is a really fun Riesling with everything it needs. The shellfish limestone of the soil makes this wine an extremely fresh and drinkable representative of the grape variety.

The nose is redolent of ripe grapefruit, pear and white blossom. The palate is very refined and has an electrifying saline/mineral character that is beautifully taut and expertly balanced by the lovely weight of bright citrus and softly herbal fruit. Definitely a must.
