This Riesling grows on Ried Preussen limestone on the Wiener Nussberg. The bedrock almost reaches the surface and is little interspersed with marine sediments. The high quartz content of sandstone with a low lime content is characteristic. On the nose, its baroque style recalls a ripe vine peach. Mineral notes and an exciting combination of sugar and acid make this wine one of the best representatives of Riesling in Vienna.

The "Schönherr" vineyard is a very exciting and unusual vineyard. The vines are around 40 years old and their root system reaches deeper into the earth.
