Magnum Mercurey 1ER CRU "Clos du Roy" - Maison Chanzy

The wine from this estate, owned by one of the great Bordeaux families, is already balanced between fruit and tannins. Black currants from the Cabernet Sauvignon comes through strongly, giving a juicy character to the wine's structure. It is rich and will mature well.

The "Schönherr" vineyard is a very exciting and unusual vineyard. The vines are around 40 years old and their root system reaches deeper into the earth. As a result, highly exciting mineral notes can be reflected in the wine. Deep, dark notes of fruit and black pepper make this wine a real showcase for a top Veltliner with profile and aging potential.

One of most quaffable Cabernet Franc of the Yannick Amirault estate, with a refined structure
and intense fruit. Perfect in its youth. Its main aromas are earthy, graphite, leather, oak, vanilla, tobacco, black pepper, mentholated and finely herbaceous for freshness. 

This cuvée is the spearhead of the estate. The aim is to bring together all Yannick Amirault's expertise in the most affordable bottle. 

Aging: +2/+6 years

Pairing: Lamb, Vegetarian, Poultry, Goat Cheese.

A nose full of citrus fruits and white flowers. A palate with tropical notes of passion fruit.

Aging: +7 / 10 years

Pairing: White meats, blanquette of veal, scallops, fish in sauce, cheeses.

A very nice roundness with notes of hazelnut and acacia honey. Aged for one year in oak barrels (25% new).

Pairing: fish, white meat, cream sauces.

The nose is already very expressive. The first nose reveals a beautiful complexity, ripe white fruit such as (peaches, mirabelle plum) and delicate fragance of white flowers such as acacia and lime appear as well as minerality.
