The nose is already very expressive. Located on a marine beach terrace with Viennese sandstone as a basement, the Ried Gollin presents marine deposits on the surface that have been altered in limestone sand by erosion. The limestone content is very high, which allows to perceive very mineral notes in the mouth. Accompanied by fresh walnut aromas and racy acidity, this wine is a very complex representation of the Grüner Veltliner grape variety.

The shell limestone in the soil makes the wine an extremely fresh, drinkable representative of the variety.
